Pythagorean numerology assigns numbers 1 through 9 sequentially to the letters of the alphabet (A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.) and is the most widely used system in Western numerology. Chaldean numerology uses a different mapping based on sound vibrations and only assigns numbers 1 through 8, with 9 considered sacred.
